Stages in
words (1-5 = Client, a-g = Entertainment Online)
This is an example and can differ.
(1)
Client sends a request online or phones in a request
through the 24 hour line.
(A)
SA Online Distribution Centre receives request and
passes onto Entertainment Online senior consultant
or office manager who will refer to online
consultant / broker.
(B)
The Consultant / broker will respond to client
letting them know their request is being seen too.
They might offer starting costs at this point and
ask the client if they would like to proceed with a
formal quote. Availability is generally
checked before a quote – if not – availability will
be marked as unconfirmed on the quote.
(2)
A quote is sent to the client. If the client
accepts, they
(3)
return the quote signed instructing Entertainment
Online to secure services on their behalf.
(C)
Consultant will recheck availability. If the artist
is available, an invoice will be sent to the client
for a deposit to secure the services.
(4)
Client pays deposit and sends payment slip to SA
Online.
(E)
The consultant is notified of the payment, who, in
turn, informs the service provider to reserve the
service for the client. The consultant will let the
client know that the artist is reserved.
(F)
SA Online issues final invoice.
(5)
Client pays final invoice and sends payment slip to
SA Online.
(G)
SA Online informs consultant who confirms with the
entertainer and client.
